How much is 'too much'?

Ben Hur - Chariot Race.

Ladies And Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains (USA, 1981)***.

Diane Lane stars this cult awsomeness alongside the great Ray Winstone, The Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones and Paul cook and The Clash’s Paul Simonon.

Nothing great. Just really cool.

My queue on Netflix :D

Vidal Sassoon: The Movie. Official Trailer.

Martha Macy May Marlene (USA, 2011)**1/2.

Not sure what all the fuss was about (perhaps because of Elizabeth Olsen?). This empty movie reeks of pretension and amateurism and it was torture to watch. I couldn’t wait for it  to end. The 2.5 stars go to the good actors who made it somewhat bearable.

Desire - Under Your Spell.

The Debt (USA, 2011)***.

Almost there.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (USA, 2011)***.

This is a movie I had no interest in seeing but, all my friends who saw it described some crazy action-sequences that seemed as memorable as the ones in Hitchcock’s ‘North By Northwest’ and as beautiful as the ones in John Woo’s own second installment of this franchise so I knew I had to go see it.

I like the first two Mission Impossible movies but this is probably my favorite because of said crazy-action sequences and the most likeable ‘Mission Team’ so far.  Wish I had time and money to go see it again on a big screen.

The Beaver (USA, 2011)***.

Ever seen a threesome involving a hand puppet? I have!

I’m not sure I bought this idea but Mel Gibson is so good here that I kinda forgot about his character and saw only the Beaver…  But I have to say that one should only see the comedy part of this movie to really enjoy it.
